Managing Director – Homesafe Inspections (Pty) Ltd. Mr Sedie has advised many citizen and non-citizen investors, developers on the successful development of office estates, office parks and provided broking services for a regional shopping centre with private sector joint venture developers. This has involved extensive negotiations with Local Authorities, major land and development deals and providing investors with all related planning and strategic advice for their developments.
Stephen’s brokerage’ team is consistently involved in property valuations, sales and leasing on behalf of private developers, investors and purchasers, a number of properties amongst others Kgale Mews, Kgale Court and Gaborone International Commerce Park.
His retail team recently completed the land transaction and forward leasing of the largest regional center in the country. Currently providing advise on post development leasing and management of the center. Forward Funding advice was also part of the package provided to the developers. Proposals for the new Gaborone CBD for various developments were also carried out on behalf of some aspiring developers and established ones alike. Also recently completed leasing on a large retail development in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
Stephen Sedie started his property career with Knight Frank in 1995. Then went for further studies in the UK in 1997 and completed his BSc in 2000 upon which time he joined CB Richard Ellis after a brief stint with Knight Frank in London doing various commercial and residential real estate broking.
Since 2000 he has been primarily involved in office broking with valuations and investment sales. He has been recently involved in a major property listing vehicle providing advise to property investors as well as a retail development in Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania.
