A Little About Me...

CHRIS MARION (Omanique) was born in Pembroke, Ontario and lived within the Renfrew County for most of her life. Her family built and sold quite a few houses, and at an early age she became knowledgeable in the many exciting faucets of real estate. With Chris' parents affiliation with the building supply industry, her Grandpa's involvement and previous ownership of Forest Valley Lumber, and his Mills in Pembroke and Barry's Bay... you could say that it’s in her blood!

Chris holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Ottawa, a Diploma in Business Administration and Certification in Computers from Algonquin College. For ten years she was founder and co-owner of a small computer/electronics retail store and later left that business to join her husband Laydon and help with his quickly growing company, Handyman’z Inc. It was here that their mutual love of real estate, home renovations, and staging became fine-tuned and grew even more! It was therefore a natural progression for Chris to become a licensed REALTOR® and the perfect way to help others realize their dreams of ownership! Remembering always that: “it’s more than a house, it’s Home!”

Today Chris lives in her hometown Pembroke with her husband Laydon and son Justin. She is very blessed to be surrounded by wonderful family at home and the terrific TEAM at RE/MAX! Chris says that if you love something then you are good at it, and she loves her job because working as a REALTOR® allows the opportunity to find clients the home that they will make dreams and memories in, a place to belong, to make a future!
