I can only say so much about me being a professional real estate broker... I was just starting as in-house Property consultant/ agent here in the Philippines, March of 1997 when the economic crisis came in, and affected the whole country, especially, the whole real estate industry. dollars rate doubled ( from 26 pesos to a 52 pesos in a US dollar). . A lot of investors stop investing,.bussinesses were closed..no body buys properties...and you can imagine the whole scenario..I stood still, keep doing what was i supposed to do, being a positive person, i didnt mind the hard work, i didn't mind the effort i have to excert ,even if it means 20 times (unlike before the crisis, i guess) harder.This is my job, and all i have to do is to be me, being a person of good character, having the goal to learn everything that is related to the industry, understanding the clients needs and giving them advices (things i learned thru actual observation, analysis of economics, being sensitive to what is happening) ..i gained client's trust (while almost all agents lost their job). I can say that all of my clients were satisfied when they purchased the properties i recommended.. Now that i am more knowledgeable in terms of Real Estate industry, I am certain that i know the best properties to offer, knows by heart the developers and their strength,..I am now more capable of recommending the properties which gives the high return of investment, and the best properties to offer according to the client's needs and status.
