My name is Lorraine I am English, my Husband is Scots. We have lived in Turkey for 4/5 years, my husband taking early retirement from UK, after a time I soon found that I had too much time on my hands and needed to look for work from home to suit my life style. I took my love for buildings, old and new and decided to turn it to my advantage. Spending time with lawyers and real estate agent friends learning the many detailed procedures regarding building, resstoration and purchasing property by foreigner in Turkey, I also and spent 15months assisting a local architect learning the many procedures and permissions involved in building property. I
In the Uk my hobby was old buildings in need of restoration/renovation, I soon became interested in the construction ways of the Turkish builders. The friends I have made on this journey and the discovery of Point 2 systems have made Turkey Property Gems.
