Hi, my name is Joel Scheller. I am a knowledgeable, dedicated and focused Real Estate Consultant working with the accomplished professionals at Keller Williams Integrity First Realty. For the past two years I've committed and thoroughly focused on serving the wonderful East Valley communities within the Valley of the Sun.
My team of dedicated and knowledgeable associates, all responsible professionals, work out of the exclusive and newly remodeled Red Mountain/Las Sendas Plaza in lovely Northeast Mesa.
As I was growing up in San Diego I always thought I might someday be a Real Estate Professional. Both my Mom and Dad were agents in San Diego and Couer d' Alene Idaho in the 70's & 80's. My sister became an agent in the late 80's and still practices. My Mom became an agent in Lake Havasu and my Dad still invests in Real Estate. In the year 2005 I finally realized my dream of becoming a Real Estate Consultant. I guess you could say it's in the blood.
I moved to Arizona in October 1983 and started building pools at that time. This was a career that lasted till the summer of 2005. At that time I knew it was time to start a new career. I sold my business and started on the path to become a Real Estate Professional. Because I had a business for so long I really understood the concept of repeat business and customer satisfaction. These are just two of the ingredients I use to run a successful business and form lifelong lasting relationships.
I am happily married to my beautiful wife Stacey who is a native of Mesa. We have two wonderful girls aged 8 and 2. There names are Kaley and Rylee.
My mission is to be a goof (Freudian slip) husband and father and to treat everyone the way I would like to be treated.
My hobbies include anything sports related. I love riding my Harley when I have time, but I'd rather ride my CRF450 dirt bike. I still play softball and hope to keep playing until my body finally gives out. I am a rabid baseball fan and can't wait to catch the box scores every morning when the paper comes. I hunt, fish, swim, ride mountain bikes and love dogs. I've been a season ticket holder from day 1for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Seahawks are my football team and soon as the Cardinals start making sound decisions I hope to become a Cardinals fan.
Of course my biggest thrill is when I get to change people's lives forever. Because I've chosen to be a Real Estate Professional I impact a lot of other peoples lives.. Many people don't understand just how important my job is. I am responsible for finding young people their first home and many people a second home. The list of other people impacted are the lenders, banks, inspection companies, termite companies, landscapers, pool companies...the list is so long I can't possibly name them all. When it is all said and done the personal satisfaction I get helping people really makes this a career that I love so much that I'd do it for free. I know what your thinking...just remember I have a family to feed too.
I've been a licensed plumbing contractor and excavation contractor in the state of Arizona. I've lived in the Phoenix Metro area
(Mesa) for 22 years. I know almost every neighborhood ever built and how to get there. I've done work for just about every home builder ever to build homes in Phoenix. My parents were agents growing up and my sister is an agent too. I've been a Real Estate investor myself since I bought my first house at age 19. I attended college over a four year period, have taken several business classes and always take time for continuing education classes in my Real Estate career. I was one rank shy of making Eagle Scout and still regret the fact I caved to peer pressure (wearing a scout uniform wasn't cool at age 16).
I can't type to save my life, but I'll negotiate and manage the transactions while my assistant takes care of those things. Because I owned my own companies before I understand the concept of customer satisfaction and the direct relationship to repeat business. Most of my business is referral and I truly understand what it takes to be referrable. I am a husband and a father to two girls. I coach baseball and soccer.
