Born and raised on the SF Peninsula (Burlingame), California has always been "home". I live in Discovery Bay, CA with my wife Lynda and our Black Lab Ebony. We belong to the Discovery Bay Yacht Club where I am a past Splasher Leader. Splashers is the charitable arm of DBYC raising monies each year for local area charities. I am a Past Commodore of Oyster Point Yacht Club in SSF.
I am active in the Delta Community Presbyterian Church (dcpcfamily.org) as the Outreach Elder. Lynda is the church's administrative assistant/secretary.
In my life BR (Before Real Estate) I served in the USAF as a computer tech, had a flying career cuminating as a Captain for American Eagle Airlines. I have also served in various positions as a computer tech.
Now my life is my community and family. As a Broker I seek to give back to my community while transforming the old real estate models for the overall benefit of my clients and community. I have coined the phrase "think forward and give back" to describe my business/community philosophy.
Living and working in Discovery Bay since 2000 gives me unique knowldege regarding Discovrey Bay, Brentwood and the entire Delta region. There are some very specific issues affecting homes on in the Delta and it takes a LOCAL agent to understand all these issues.
I am a Broker and hold a GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) certificate from the NAR. I also hold a SRES certificate (Seniors Real Estate Specialist). I have approximately 63 personal transactions to date representing over $25 Million in Sales. As Broker of record for the top producing Brokerage in Discovery Bay I have been involved in an additional 140+ transactions over the last 2 1/2 years.

I provide my clients Web 2.0 exposure which ensures that their listing is seen by the largest possible base of "likely buyers". Visual Tours, E-Flyers, Multiple MLS exposure, Multiple Web 2.0 destination websites ie Property Maps, Trulia, Zillow, Craigslist. I drive traffic to my hyper-local blog site DiscoveryBayGuide.com.
I provide Full Service at a Fair commission (NOT Discount - FAIR). My Listing side commission is 1% to every Seller. This saves them approximately 2% of the listing price immediately so they can lower the asking price making their home more competitive, use some of the known savings to fix up some needed repairs around the home or simply know they have some flexability when it comes to negotiating with the Buyer. Buyers represented by Marston Myers are given back a full 50 % of the Buyers side commission offered by Sellers (typically 1.5% of the 3% total based on purchase price) in order to pay closing costs, buy down their interest rates or simply recieve a check at closing. This applies to Buyers represented by Marston Myers and ANY property offered by ANY Brokerage.
I am passionate about providing great client care take only the listings that can be properly managed and marketed. I do not take listings from unrealistic Sellers. I am a Reference, a Guide and Advisor. It is up to the Seller or Buyer to make the final decisions regarding their sale/;urchase.
