I had the good fortune to move from the New York area in 1972 and attend the University of Southern California where I earned my BS and MBA.
Upon graduation I moved to Laguna Beach where I’ve been living ever since. Most of my business career has been selling software solutions to the real estate industry around the world. My breath of experience ranges from construction, lending, managing and analyzing real estate all over the world.
The technology background has served my customers well since I utilize this background to maximize their properties exposure using the internet and Web 2.0 applications.
I’ve been an active member of the coastal community for many years. I’m currently the president of LOCA, which is a non-profit organization that funds local artist to go to schools, Boys and Girls Clubs, shelters, and much more, to instruct in art.
I’m also eco broker certified, and conduct many eco projects in the area from hazardous waste recycling, to First Saturday Trash Pickup participation, to creating the Laguna Bag permanent grocery bag. Over 300 people use the Laguna Bag in place of the plastic bag.
Last but not least I’m also a member of the Endangered Planet, Art Alliance and Surfrider foundations.
I also conduct different local educational events like ‘Feng Shui your Life’ seminars and kid art parties. I currently have an eco community of 300 people and a art community of 250 people that receive my newsletters and participate in my activities.
My hobbies include reading historical fiction novels, surfing, yoga, and BBQs with my friends.
My passion is to incorporate my basic values into my work and my work to include my life of quality coastal living. Surterre Properties has helped me to achieve this goal.
