Cynthia has been a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, the local Boys and Girls Club board for over 10 years, serving as President twice. Cynthia has also just finished her second term as President for the Desert Communities Association of Realtors. She was named the Realtor of the Year in 1995 and was given the "Sam Walton Business Person of the Year" in 1999 by Walmart and the Chamber of Commerce. Cynthia has been very involved as a volunteer in the Yucca Valley High School "School-To-Career" program, and is currently the President of their non-profit Foundation Scholarship Program.
