As a third generation Coloradoan, I have a strong love for my state and all that it offers. In 1956 my mother and father started a dude ranch outside of the little town of Mancos located about 30 minutes from Durango. While I was growing up I was fortunate enough to spend a good part of my summers at the ranch. Trail riding and moving cattle with local ranchers in the surrounding mountains instilled a love for the area and a passion for horses.
Now, my husband, Stan, and I live 6 miles east of the small town of Bayfield (20 miles from Durango) on a 95 acre horse property. We own and operate Snowoods Morgan farm, a small Morgan breeding operation with approximately 10 horses, comprised of our breeding stallion, several broodmares and a variety of young stock.
