Alan Rainey

I've been married 29 years to my wonderful wife Janet. We have two sons which are what we call bookends. The oldest is 21 and we have a six year old that will be entering third grade in September. I have many intererests but when you live in a place as beautiful as Pagosa Springs then being an outdoorsman is almost a given. I enjoy riding my bicycle and fishing in the area rivers, lakes and streams. Hiking on our trails always brings new experiences but our passion is to travel.

Full-Time Realtor since 1993. I hold three advanced real estate designations, the most important of which is that I am a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) of which less than 4% of the 1.2 million Realtors in the USA have earned this designation. I am one of only 7 here in Pagosa (out of more than 185 agents) that have this level of experience and education.

I am also an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR) and a Graduate of the Realtor's Institute. During my career I have been President of the Association of Realtors, voted "Best Realtor" and been a recipient of the "Realtor of the Year" award. I am licensed in not only Colorado but also in Kansas and Texas as well. I've handled all manner of transactions from first time homebuyers and first time homesellers to international leases involving foreign governments. I am also a proud recipient of the Better Business Bureau's "Torch Award" for Marketplace Ethics.
