Originally from Minnesota, I have lived in New York City and in the San Francisco Bay Area before settling into the beautiful waterfront/ golf course community of Apollo Beach. After my husband, son and I built our home on the golf course I became very interested in real estate and in 1997 began my apprenticeship to become an appraiser and in January of 2000 I received my certification.
As a State Certified Residential Appraiser I have appraised everything from small manufactured homes, foreclosures, vacant land, condos, waterfront homes and million dollar estates. Taking classes in real estate law, home inspection, appraising manufactured homes, appraising high value homes, 1031 exchange… along with many other classes. Appraising in Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, Manatee and Sarasota Counties gives me a solid understanding of the surrounding market area.
After gaining experience in the real estate investment market through buying, rehabbing and reselling foreclosures. I recieved my Sales Associate License in June of 2004. I currently appraise residential real estate independently and work as a sales associate for Charles Rutenberg Realty.
