Janet Fried

I am originally a New Yorker and moved down to Sunny Fort lauderdale in 1989. I graduated from Hunter College in the Bronx with a BS degree in Elementary Education. I was an elementary school teach er in Fort Lauderdale while I sold real estate during the week and week ends. I received my Masters in Early Childhhod Education from Nova Soputheastern University. When my daughter went to University of Indiana I was recruited by UBS Financial services where I became a stockbroker for 5 years. I had my series 7, mamaged money, Life, Healty, Variable Annuity, and Long term care licenses.Since I was not allowed to use my real estate license (conflict of interest) I became the marketing director for the Certified Financial Planner program at Nova Southestern University. Fortunately the program was cut due to funding and I happilly went back to selling Real Estate full time. I also have my mortgage broker license.
I enjoy the freedom that selling gives me which enable me to care for my 3 cats, one dog and husband. I also own a house in Homosassa which is on the west coast, an hour north of Tampa. Some of my charitible work include Rotary, Children in Distress and funding several charities around town.
