Barbara Edwards

My life began in Cleveland OH, where I spent my public school years. After leaving college, marrying and having two children, I spent the next 11 years in Ohio, where I taught school and also did some subsitute teaching. In the spring of 1973, after visiting Disney World and spending some time with friends who lived in the area, we decided to relocate to Florida. Surprisingly enough, the weather was the deciding factor. While my son enjoyed the Florida climate, he chose to attend college in Ohio and has been there ever since. My daughter, however, loves Florida and has never left. She has two children who are natives of the State.

My career as a REALTOR began in January 1976. The first 21 years were spent in the Tallahassee area, the next seven in Orlando, and since 2004 I've lived in Clermont. During the last 33 years I've been successful in helping hundreds of clients realize their goals, whether it was through a sale or the purchase of a home. My goal is to make sure the transaction proceeds to closing as smoothly as possible. Having a team of professionals is important and I use only the best!

My designations as a REALTOR include the GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute) and the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). Th CRS designation is held by only five per cent of all REALTORS, and is the highest attainable in the residential real estate industry.
