I was awarded the REALTOR of the Year for 2008 from the St. Augustine Women's Council of REALTORS.

I have been actively involved with the redevelopment of Vilano Beach since 1998. This hidden jewel that goes from the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal offers unique views and opportunities. I know Vilano as well or better than anyone. This beach town is the closest beach to Historic St. Augustine. The beach is a family-oriented beach as opposed to St. Augustine Beach which is a tourist beach.

I worked for IBM for 15 years, owned my own hospitality-based magazine for 3 years, worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch for 2 years prior to becoming a real estate agent and REALTOR. I understand investments, investing in real estate in your IRA, 1031 exchanges, and tenants-in-commons (TICs).

I am very involved in the real estate community and the local community. I was selected as the 2008 Businesswoman of the Year in St. Augustine by the Women's Council of REALTORS. I was the 2007 President of the Women's Council of REALTORs in St. Augustine. I am on the board of directors for VIlano Beach Main Street, the chairman of Scenic & Historic A1A CMC, a state-designated Scenic Highway and President of A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway (aka Friends of A1A), a national scenic byway. I am one of the first members of the Crew of 72 of the Friends of A1A. I am the Vice-President of North Shores Improvement Association, the parent organization of Vilano Beach Main Street. I volunteer over 30 hours a week to ensure our paradise remains a pleasant place to live.
