After accruing valuable experience as a mortgage banker beginning in the late '80s, Deborah's focus eventually turned to new home sales whereupon she joined Morris & Raper in 2000. Starting out at our company as a Sales Associate, she assiduously worked her way through the ranks and currently holds the position of Division Manager.
Named Division Sales Agent of the Year in 2003 and company-wide Sales Agent of the Year in 2004, Deborah's not only highly successful, but also very active in the real estate community. She is a member of The Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association, National Builder Marketing Services, and Atlanta Board of Realtors.
Because Deborah understands the business from the builder point-of-view, as well as the agent and consumer perspective, she is particularly astute when it comes to critiquing floor plans, developing market positioning and designating agent profiles for each assignment.
Working directly with Janis Kirtz, Deborah successfully handles each and every new assignment with confidence and enthusiasm. In one instance, she accepted the challenge of commuting to South Carolina to manage a conversion for a Morris & Raper client who had never before handled a conversion. After hiring and training her staff, she and her team completed $52 million in sales in 8 months - half the time that was projected!
Deborah constantly displays a very strong work ethic, sets an excellent example and sees to it that she and her staff are always up-to-date on the latest sales training techniques.
