Shelley Margulies Gordon, a native of Virginia Beach, Va, is proud to call Atlanta her home for the past 11 years. She and her husband, Marcus, reside in the Lenox/Buckhead area.
Shelley always dreamed of one day living in Atlanta. After high school, she attended the University of Georgia in Athens. While in college, she was an active member of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority. Shelley also appeared in a cameo performance of "Amadeus" in an Athens local theater.
After graduating with a B.A. in English, Shelley finally made Atlanta her home. She began her career in real estate as an assistant to a top agent at a local realty boutique, Buckhead Brokers, where she gained invaluable experience on the details of the business and how to best serve her clients. Shelley took her vast knowledge of the industry and ventured out on her own as an agent for Coldwell Banker, where she was a top agent from 1997 to 2003. In 2003, Shelley joined the Keller Williams family and is enjoying her 10th year in real-estate.
When not selling, Shelley enjoys volunteering on the Young Leadership Committee of the Jewish Federation of Atlanta as well as participating in other charitable events. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, wine tastings, theater, reading and spending quality time with friends and family. Whether it's hitting the popular night spots and shopping districts, dining at the newest restaurants, or relaxing with friends at a quiet café, Shelley knows the ins-and-outs of Atlanta and is easily able to assist her clients not only in finding their dream home, but also in discovering new places to experience.
Some of her professional accolades include: Top "5" in KWR Atlanta Perimeter's Individual Category 2004; Member Agent Leadership Council 2004-2005; Accredited Relocation Consultant; Life Member Million Dollar Club '97-'05; Rookie of the Year 1997; Diamond Society; International President's Circle; Top 2% Nationally; Member of Atlanta Board of Realtors; Member of Georgia Board of Realtors; Member of National Association of Realtors.
