I'm a "kama'aina" - born on the island of Oahu, and raised up in a traditional Hawaiian-style family. I attended Cannon Business College in Honolulu, and worked for many years in the tourist industry, combining my love of the islands with the chance to help people from all over the world.
I have extensive experience in Financing, Loan Processing, as well as Title and Escrow experience. Since I had a well-rounded background in the "nuts and bolts", behind-the-scenes aspect of the real estate world, I decided that becoming a professional Realtor was the perfect way to utilize both my business skills and my desire to help people achieve their dreams of home ownership.
In 1997, I obtained my Real Estate License. I wanted to be as knowledgable as possible in my new profession, so I acheived my Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation, and then my Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) certification. In 2000, I earned my Broker's license, and in 2003, I was appointed Principal Broker for Centex Homes, in charge of their new Kolea project, located in the Waikoloa area of the Big Island.
In 2004, I started my own company, and I'm now the Principal Broker of Rainbow Properties. I am also a member of the Hawaii Information Service (MLS), the Kona Board of Realtors, the Hawaii Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
I believe that the highest compliment my clients can give me is the referral of their friends, family, and business associates, because that means I've earned their trust and loyalty.
