I don't intend on leaving this industry anytime soon. :)
Helping people find a house they can call home is good, but educating people about the cost of owning a home is even more rewarding.
So many Consumers get caught up in a home that they cannot afford and end up losing it to foreclosure 2-3 years down the road, commission dollars $$ is not my priority, finding you a property that you can afford and call home is.

Although lots of money can be made in this profession, it shouldn't be the main factor for selecting it as a career.
The best advise I can give you when selecting an agent to represent you is. "Go with your Gut" 99.9% of the time it's right on target. Also pick someone whose personality you can relate with, it makes things alot easier during the process. :)

I, just like the client need to make sure that they are approved and really serious about the committment to buy or sell real estate.

I am not afraid of telling someone that I can't work with them, some consumers are very unrealistic and are not always willing to hear the truth, some have no respect for your time.

I am not one for sugar coating, I tell it like it is! and those who can handle it, appreciate it :) you can't be all things to all people all the time...( my favorite saying :) ....... but those that can and will work with you make this job very rewarding......

So consumers don't be so quick to think that agents are just tripping over each other to get to you......good agents screen you the same way you screen them. I mean this with the upmost respect. :)
