Peter Breitlander, Broker/Owner

Born and raised in Chicago, Pete came to real estate by way of industrial technology and construction. Pete attended both Southern Illinois and Eastern Illinois Universities. After college, Pete was hired by Bran + Luebbe, a German manufacturing company. After four rewarding years, Pete’s passion for “all thing real estate” led him to where he is now. Pete has always had great passion for architecture, development, construction, and real estate investment opportunities.

In 2005, Pete partnered up with John Federici, and together they co-founded KRAIN-Commercial and Residential Real Estate (sm). The company has already grown to fourteen associates. Pete is the President and Managing Broker.

He and his wife, Sarah currently live in Lincoln Park with their dog Charlie. They are specifically located in the R.A.N.C.H. Triangle Neighborhood. They currently reside in a 131-year-old single family home, modeled in the "Workers Cottage" style. They are currently restoring the home to its original splendor. They are truly happy living in Lincoln Park with all that it has to offer. This newly married couple plans on growing roots, a family, and old in this great community.

Pete has made Lincoln Park one of his primary market focuses. This has enabled Pete to become an area expert. Pete and John have also assembled a "Team" of agents that work directly with them and their clients on all Listings. Along with this team comes an experienced staff and work force.
