A native Nebraskan, I've lived in the Kansas City area since 1983! Born in Omaha in the late 50's (yes that's 1950's, not 1850's-- very funny), I have enjoyed visiting family and friends here since my childhood. Although I love to travel and have visited all the major cities in the US (except Boston, Boise and Milwaukee); I have always lived in the midwest and can't wait to come back home no matter how brief the visit or stay. My husband, Tom is from Shawnee Mission...we recently celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary! It truly feels more like 50 yrs...NO, no, I'm just kidding...I'm the luckiest gal I know...in both my career and personal life. My business career in sales spans more than twenty-eight years and includes buying and merchandising for department stores and managing product sales as a corporate executive with a national training company. Since 2002 I've been a Realtor licensed in both Kansas and Missouri. I enjoy showing out-of-town buyers Kansas City and any or all our surrounding cities and suburbs...I know them all from Overland Park, Prairie Village, Olathe, Leawood, Lenexa, Shawnee, Shawnee Mission, Merriam, Fort Leavenworth, Lansing, Tonganoxie, Basehor, Louisburg, Stanley, Stilwell, Lee's Summit, Lake Winnebago, Belton, Peculiar, Kansas City North, Independence, Excelsior Springs and Liberty. This is a unique area and often dubbed, "the best kept secret" because it's truly a terrific place to live and work, and especially to raise your family. And, not too many folks know anything about our fair cities...
