John Walters is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated first from Delgado Community College in New Orleans. Later he graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor Degree.
After getting married, he moved to Metairie, Louisiana for a few years. He worked as a Respiratory Therapist for 14 years at a Metairie, Louisiana hospital. It is here where he learned his people skills. Working with critically ill patients and dealing with emotional family members. He learned to listen to others before making decisions.
In 1992 he moved to Slidell, Louisiana just across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans. Everything was well until 2005 and Hurricane Katrina wiped out nearly all of Southeast Louisiana and his employer. It was here he decided to enter the real estate business.
Reaching out to sellers and buyers to enable them to live their dreams was his goal. " I want to get everybody in a home of their own."
John enjoys fishing and sports, especially football, New Orleans Saints, baseball, Chicago Cubs and Soccer.
