Husband and wife team, Chris and Karen Highland, make up the core of The Highland Real Estate Group. They have been serving the real estate needs of families in Frederick & surrounding Counties since 1993 , helping them to create the lifestyles they desire, and to realize their real estate goals.

Chris has experience in management, having managed a Real Estate office of 95 agents. This, along with his 15 years of experience serve as a great resource to clients and agents as they maneuver the complex issues surrounding any real estate transaction. Chris is a Certified Distressed Property Expert, (CDPE), and specializes in helping people avoid foreclosure.

Karen brings her own unique benefits to buyers and sellers from the field of education. Having been a teacher for over 10 years, Karen makes great efforts to make sure clients have the knowledge about the market, and the understanding they need to make the best possible decisions in the real estate transaction. "Being a teacher at heart, I am always working to keep myself educated as well, about the market and about the business of real estate."
