In addition to being a full-time Realtor, I am also a Massachusetts licensed Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser. This is the highest level of licensure for residential appraisers in the state. I have personally appraised over 1,500 properties throughout Massachusetts for various banks, mortgage brokers, lawyers, estate planners and governmental institutions. This extensive experience in the appraisal field has given me valuable insight which I leverage everyday as a Realtor to the benefit of both my buyers and sellers.

For buyers, I ensure you never pay one dollar more than true market value and support our lower-than-asking offers with cold, hard market data and statistics. I help take the emotion out of a very emotional process for buyers, and usually save them a good chunk of money in the process.

For sellers, I begin our relationship with honest, realistic pricing strategies based on what the current market is telling us. It's not always what sellers want to hear, but it guarantees that we sell your home for the maximum price in the shortest time possible. Overpriced listings, usually created to appease and win over buyers, merely sit on the market for prolonged periods and often times ride the market downward. This is bad news for everyone involved.

The local real estate market is basically efficient and self-correcting. Homes priced the most accordingly tend to sell the quickest. I pride myself on my ability to use my extensive appraisal experience and market understanding to find that "proper price" to maximize returns and minimize headaches for my clients.
