Kris Burgess

I am a lifelong resident of Washtenaw County and came to the real estate profession in 1999 following a 20+year career in Medical Group Management and 6 years of owning a business in Saline, Michigan. I am a golfer and Michigan has many beautiful and challenging courses that I have experienced since I began playing when I was 5 years old. I also enjoy traveling and visiting areas of our beautiful state, especially the Grand Haven area on Lake Michigan where my family has had a cottage for a number of years.

My husband and I live in a wooded area and enjoy our yard, the birds, squirrels and other critters as well as spending time with our dogs. We have had 3 bouviers since we got married and have just gotten our 4th bouvier so we are spending time trying to train a feisty puppy to be a happy member of our family. I have enjoyed traveling in the past however now there seems to be so much to do in our own state that we spend our time off doing those things and visiting friends and family in other states.

I began my real estate career in 1999 as an assistant for a single agent. After deciding to go on my own I was asked to be a part of a team for one of the top producing Remax agents in Michigan and I did that for 3 years. I then ventured on my own and now I work with both sellers and buyers. I know how important a home sale or purchase is and I work very hard to find the right home for buyers and do everything possible to get the home sold for my sellers. I believe there is always something new to learn so I take advantage of the courses that are available both locally and in the country to keep my knowledge as up to date as possible. With technology becoming such an important of our business there is always something to learn to be able to better serve my clients.
