I grew up with both of my parents as Realtors in the San Diego County. The rule in my family is when each child turns eighteen we were to buy our first investment property. After getting a 1.55% return on my investment after just one short year, I was hooked on investing and knowing more about real estate. Now, I am not saying Real Estate is a get rich quick scheme, however I was lucky enough to invest right before the real estate boom in California. When moving to Kansas City, Missouri with my husband, it just seemed necessary to start my carrer in Real Estate. We were already what I call "house stalkers". Meaning, the only thing we did for fun was go out and look for properties on the weekend together. I was shocked by the low home prices, great neighborhoods and what the Kansas City area had to offer, compared to what we were shoping for back in California. Actually now that I think about it, we still are house stalkers five years later..... hmmm. My husband recently told me he was worried I would never want to stay in one house for a long period of time because I am constantly online looking at the best deals, foreclosures, and cool property on acerage. I simply told him this is what I do I can't help it, I am facinated by real estate, the opportunities and the potential of selling someone their dream home. I love it and I wouldn't want to spend my time doing anything else. I am completely focused on my customers needs and wants. I do have to say I am committed to the fiduciary duties my consumers deserve. I strive to work with integrity, trust, and honesty. It is important to me that I deliver a true value to my customers. I guess what I am trying to say is I focus my attention on realtionships not transactions. Your goals are the most important thing for me to understand. Once I do then we work together to utilize my services.
