Joana Lee

Hello to all my future clients and customers. My Name is Joana lee. Joana is pronounced like the Joahna of bible fame ( the one with the whale trouble) So let me start by saying, to talk about myself does not come easily but I would like you to know a bit about myself and my adventures in life. I graduated from a Cleveland Ohio East Side High School in “74” and promptly left for Europe 3 days after graduation thinking I would return by fall to start my higher education at Kent State, Ohio. In Europe my mode of travel was a “66” Black vintage BMW police motorcycle. I did the usual sights and had a fabulous time from Amsterdam to the Monte Carlo coast line..But by the end of summer on traversing the Alps again I started to have engine trouble on top of Mt Blanc, France and coasted the long way down to a local train depot where my cycling days ended with the bike being placed in the baggage compartment on a train to Munich for repairs. While waiting for the bike to be fixed in Munich I did stick out my thumb (that was perfectly expectable in “74”) to visit the local sights. I had the pleasure of being picked up by a bus load of Us Military service folks bound for Berchtesgaden, Germany on their way for the winter skiing season as ski patrol and asked if I would care to apply for a winter job with the Department of Defense doing R&R work on base. To make a long story short I stayed with the US Government until 1984 with wonderful experiences as the Sound of Music tour guide, taking Mrs. Al Haig's pooch to the hair dressers and for walks and playing up to local Russian spy contingency. I would head to Greece in the summer months and finally became owner proprietor of a summer Taverna on the Island of Corfu and doing design work for Restaurant /Clubs in Athens and the surrounding Islands until moving to Egypt with a new husband in 1985. After a few coups and attempted insurrections in Cairo we returned to New York for a new set of adventures leading to a 110 acre Pheasant Farm in New Hampshire’s Connecticut River Valley. I received my license in 1998 and have been having great fun selling and buying my own investment properties until 2007 when I decided enough if the white stuff that falls from the sky and instead traded it in for some well deserved Sunshine in Tucson Arizona.

The work I strive to accomplish is to bring people into the world of property ownership. The lessons learned can be used to purchase not just a personal home but for future property investments to enhance their portfolio. I find an educated buyer and seller are a great help to me in completing the transaction so all involved can make a decision in what proves to be the largest purchase of their life or complete a sale of a home they have a personal attachment …. And it should be an enjoyable experience. I like my clients feel that they are not on the outside with little control but can feel they have the tools to go forward and be content with their decision. Buyer remorse is not something I usually encounter...My clients are ready through on going chats about what to expect, what is expected of them and what may be encountered along the way. I have been in Real Estate since 1998 and a Broker in New Hampshire and Vermont for at least 6 years. I now hold my license in the great state of Arizona's southern tier and enjoy the beauty and fabulous architecture of this region.
