Linda Valaika

I did a lot of camping when I was growing up and have an appreciation for nature and the natural wonders we have here in the United States. We moved to Taos so we could be outside most of the year appreciating the spectacular landscapes, hiking with our dogs, skiing, white water rafting, and birding. We have 3 dogs we rescued from the animal shelter and they are the best dogs in the world. Since we are empty nesters now the dogs are our kids. I enjoy gardening, playing piano, running, and traveling. I am a founding member of the Taos Milagro Rotary club and enjoy being of service to others. Recently I went to Peru and Bolivia with several members of our club. We took clothing, and medical and dental supplies for several orphanages there. We also purchased computers for the students and building materials so several of the buildings could be improved. It was a fantastic, memorable trip. I hope to go on another service trip to Nepal or India to work with the Rotary clubs there in the next couple of years.

I have been in real estate for over 30 years here in New Mexico and previously in California. My husband and I purchased Remax franchise and opened Remax of Taos 16 years ago. I have extensive knowledge of the area---We have been Taos homeowners since 1986. Continuing education is a priority for me and I strive to be up to date and current on what is affecting our market and our clients. I graduated from University of California at Fullerton with a teaching degree and I enjoy educating clients about real estate.

Designations - ABR, CRS, RE/MAX International Platinum Club. RE/MAX International Hall of Fame. I am a Marketing Specialist and understand that marketing is more than putting a listing in the MLS and putting out a yard sign.
I serve on committees of the Taos County Board of Realtors and have been a Director on the Board of Realtors. 33% of my business is referrals from past clients as well as other Realtors.
