Flora Franconi

I live with my husband Mike and two children, Corey and Jamie in Cortlandt Manor since 1989.
I also enjoy several interests and activities:
• Active in AmeriCares HomeFront, a community based volunteer home repair program
that helps homeowners who are unable to maintain their properties.
• Supporter of “Help the Children” Carencro, La.
• Substitute teacher for the Hendrick Hudson School District, Cortlandt Manor.
• Italian teacher for the Berlitz For Kids after-school program.
• New York State certified Italian Teacher for grades 7-12.
I grew up at Harveys Lake in N.E. Pennsylvania. I received a BA in Italian from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. After studying in Florence, Italy for 1½ years, I received an MA in Italian from Middlebury College in Vermont.
