Michelle Wood

Michelle grew up in the Charlotte, NC and has lived in the Asheville, Boone, and Sylva areas of Western North Carolina. She developed a love for travel early while accompanying her parents on trips to many cities throughout the United States. The challenge of understanding what different cities had to offer was exciting to her.

Michelle bought her first home when she was 19. She has years of working in management with a focus on the real estate and tourism industry. She worked in management for a honeymoon resort, ski condo resort and a restaurant.

She and her husband opened their first business in the Boone, North Carolina area in 1996. During that time they also remodeled homes and developed two commercial buildings.

Michelle's background has given her an insight into the challenges for anyone looking to start a developement, open a business or relocate to a new city. Her tourism experience also gives her a unique perspective of the second-home buyer and retiree's needs in a new city.

Michelle believes that everyone deserves the best experience possible — an experience that will help to enhance the dreams everyone has when making an important transition in their lives.
