Charlotte resident for more than 23 years. I grew up in Raleigh,NC ( having moved there in 1961). I attended the University of NC at Chapel Hill annd graduated in 1975 wiith a BS in Business Administration. Owned a catering business in Charllotte in the late 70's. As a result I am an acomplished cook and enjoy it for relaxation. When I can find time for a vacation I scuba dive. I read as much as I can- always industry publications- but for enjoyment fiction and history are my choices. My wife has Multiple Scheloris and her care assumes much of my free time.

A real estate veteran of more than 27 years, I began by site selection and lease negotiation for Fox Photo drive-thru locations (for those of you old enough to remember a competetor to Fotomat) in Denver and New Mexico. I continued retail site selection for 7-11 and in Denver, Atlanta and Washington, DC. In the early eighties I had ther opportunity to join Sear's shopping center development copany to lease malls (based in Chicago, I leased centers in Oklahoma). In 1985 I got the opportunity to come back to Charlotte to work for Faison Assocites, another shopping center developer. While there I wa able to maintain a 98% occcupancy in 7 malls. During ny stay with Faison I was part of a three man team that Eastlsnd Mall for $75 million dollars. By thre mid nineties two issues had developed for me.
