Roger Spaugh

I was born and raised in North Carolina in a small town, Archdale. My grandfather owned a tobacco farm that I worked on when I was young. Living in the "Furniture Capital" it was likely someone in our family either worked in a furniture company or owned one. My family owned a small furniture frame shop and I worked there in my teen years. For 30 years I worked at North State Communications, and for several years operated a small retail furniture business with my wife, and raised three children. I retired from the telephone company to begin my career as a Realtor along the coast of North Carolina.
I am an avid tennis player, playing in USTA leagues, tournaments across the state, and sometimes with visitors to the islands. I enjoy kayaking and waverunning.

My family vacationed at the beaches of North Carolina for 20 years and we purchased property in Ocean Isle several years ago. My knowlege of the area is extensive. I have a North Carolina Broker's license, have several listings and had over a million dollars in sales the 1st quarter of 2008. I work hard for prospective buyers, determined to help them find the property that's right for them.
