Ron Henderson, GRI, CRS, CBR, ABR, e-Pro, REALTOR

A native of Kentucky, Ron entered the U.S. Coast Guard at age seventeen and traveled extensively during his career. His travels included the Artic, Antarctic, Alaska, Hawaii, Fiji, Tonga, Japan, and numerous South American, Caribbean and South Pacific cities and islands. The “iceberg experience” in his travels to the “Top and Bottom” of the world gave him a great appreciation for the milder climates.

He fell in love with the Charleston area during his last career tour and he selected Real Estate as his new career choice. Ron settled in the bedroom community of Goose Creek. He and his wife “Birdie” have three children. Elizabeth and Kelly Ryan, Kelly now serves in the U.S. Coast Guard and Elizabeth is married and has three children. Last to be at home is fifteen-year-old daughter Faith.

Ron loves to fish and competes as an amateur in bass fishing tournaments. He teaches adult Sunday school and serves as Senior Deacon at his Church. Ron is a volunteer instructor for “Getting Started” in at the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. He is also a Charter member of the Goose Creek Economic Development Committee

As a long time advocate for the consumer in real estate, Ron has served as President of the National Association of Exclusive Buyer Agents (NAEBA) and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). He holds the Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) professional designations and he is an e-Pro designated REALTOR. Ron likes to level out the playing field by using his experience and negotiating skills to better his client’s position and save them money.
