My wife and I came to Clarksville after deciding that our daughter was not going to return home. It only took us 20+ years to come to this realization. Of course, she says our relocating to Clarksville, TN was because of our grandson, Kyle. It was just a coincidence that he was born at the same time we made the decision to relocate. After looking at the job market in Clarksville and dreading the drive to Nashville, I decided to go into Real Estate. Of course this was after I came to another realization that I was to old to join the Army. So my wife and I now call Clarksville, TN our home. We have our Daughter and two Sons living close by in Clarksville. We have a daughter in Florida, a son in Georgia, and our youngest daughter living in California with our oldest Grandson, Johnny. All are married except our oldest son.
My work career began when I enlisted in the Marine Corps, I spent seven years in the Marines specializing in Air Traffic Control; When I left the Corps, I went to work at the Register Newspaper as a District Manager; I then went to work for a small aircraft manufacturer, McDonnell Douglas as a Structural Mechanic; I left MDC and went to work at Weber Aircraft as a Supervisor of Military Assemblies. We built Ejection Seats; Weber was combined with another company Monogram Systems. I spent a total of twenty-four years in Management between Weber and Monogram. As a Program Manager I worked with all the large aircraft manufacturers, such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, etc.
My life today is quite different than what it was pre-2005. But overall, I am enjoying my life more! I enjoy working with people. I couldn't have picked a better career to enteract with new and exciting folks. Thank God for leading me to this Real Estate.
I have been a Realtor in Tennessee since 2005. I worked two years at Keller Williams Realty working on a team as Their Lead Buyers Specialist. In the last two years I have been able to sell over 30 homes per year. I now work with Avalar Real Estate Clarksville Tennessee as a Realtor, working with both buyers and sellers. In 2006, I successfully completed the ABR, Accredited Buyers Reprentative, training course. I am licensed in Tennessee and Kentucky.
