Sam Chapman

I grew up in an Air Force family and have lived all over the country, including Alaska. Having been in Austin now for 20 years, I am thrilled to call it home. I lived in Lakeway for many years before moving to Apache Shores in 2002. I have two daughters, both of whom attended schools in the Lake Travis ISD (one still there). My involvement in the community is something I take pride in. Being in the Lakeway – Lake Travis Rotary Club has given me many opportunities. I became the Rotary advisor to the Lake Travis High School Interact Club five years ago. Interact is a high school community service club. I have also been very active with the American Cancer Society, chairing Relay For Life several times over my 5 year involvement. There is an annual Cystic Fibrosis Foundation fundraiser on Lake Travis that I have been involved in for over 5 years. Prior to real estate I was a substitute teacher in all of the Lake Travis ISD schools. I subbed every grade level and many subjects. My favorites, for which I got called a lot were special education and band. Hobbies include snow skiing, reading, SEO, exploring the Hill Country and spending time with friends.
