I live in a small but growing community about an hour west of Fort Worth, Texas with my two children. We take care of our cats, stay involved in the community and enjoy living here. Growing up in Fairfax, Virginia was great but living in a small town has so many advantages! The atmosphere and quality of life is busy yet happy. People are friendly, helpful and community oriented.

I've lived in many areas of the United States, but mainly in the South: Georgia, Florida, and Texas (a short time in Ohio where I attended Ohio State University...go Buckeyes!) I love to travel and have been to wonderful places like the Bahamas and Alaska (that being the favorite). There is so much beauty there!


For relaxation reading and playing the piano are favorites. But, it seems that lately there hasn't been much time for relaxation, we've been so busy since school started! I enjoy my work as a real estate agent and am glad that I am lucky enough to love a job that is my career. Mineral Wells is starting to grow and I look forward to helping my friends and people moving into our town buy and sell their homes. Mineral Wells is growing every day with new businesses and new faces!

Areas of Expertise
I've been involved in some aspect of Real Estate for most of my adult life. First starting out, I worked for a national finance company and started learning about real estate loans. By the time I left my position at that company, I had learned how to process a real estate loan from the application all the way to the final closing. With the experience gained at the finance company, I went to work for a title company. This was a wonderful opportunity and I learned how to do title searches as well as prepare title policies, close loans and all of this before we had fax machines, computers and cell phones! While working for the title company, I decided to sell real estate as well. I lived in Florida at the time and realized that I really loved selling real estate. I worked for a company that only helped buyer's purchase homes and had a lot of fun helping people find that perfect home!

While working as a real estate agent, I found a great job working for a real estate attorney. This was fantastic because I loved working with people and had a great time preparing the paper work and documents needed to get them into their first or fifth home! Luckily for the firm I worked for, we were busy and I closed over 2000 loans during the period that I worked there. I worked for the real estate firm until I left Florida and moved to Texas. Once in Texas, I moved on to another form of real estate, which was auditing. I worked for a national mortgage company where I would buy and sell mortgages on the secondary market as well as auditing the loans we purchased to make sure the companies we were purchasing from were complying with all of the state and federal laws.

But alas, I stopped working for a time to have my children. This was a lot of fun and I enjoyed being home with them. But, once they got into elementary school, I realized that I needed more to do than stay around the house. So, I finally made the decision to get back into real estate and have never regretted it. It gives me the flexibility that I need to be there for the kids and other various activities that we are involved in with the schools. Our community is growing and I look forward to all of the activity that will be happening with our real estate market. It will be great helping everyone buy or sell a new home!
