I have been in Real Estate for 35 years, both as an investor and as a REALTOR. I love people and working with people. I also love houses. I guess that's why I've loved working as a REALTOR. I would love to work with anyone who is interested in buying or selling Real Estate in Texas. I work in the North side of San Antonio all the way up the I-35 corridor to and including San Marcos. Also the entire Comal and Guadelupe counties which includes Bulverde area, Canyon Lake area, and Seguin areas. Please feel free to contact me.

I have also published my first novel, a mystery, called "The Necklace". You can find it on a google search of "Susan Thayer Kelley", or go to Authorhouse.com where it can be purchased through their book store. The setting is in the 1680's in England, where a plot to steal a neckace, which is part of the crown jewels, is discovered. It's hard to figure out who is behind this plot, but eventually all the individuals linked to the scheme are caught and brought to justice. It is action packed and full of twists and turns as the story unfolds.

I am currently working on a second novel, while also helping sellers find buyers for their homes, and helping buyers to find their dream homes.
As a Real Estate investor, my husband and I have bought and remodeled over 25 homes. Most of them were in very bad shape and we were able not only to salvage them, but by the time we were finished with them, they were like new. On some, we rearranged rooms, added rooms, and we even ripped off a roof and added an upstairs on one. All of them needed rewiring, new kitchens and baths, and new flooring. Most of them needed drywall work, new roofs, siding, and windows. Homes have character and after much neglect and abuse that character begins to faulter, but with an ability to see future potential, which I have, they can once again come to life and bring happiness to someone. I remember a neighbor of one home said she couldn't believe we weren't tearing a house down in her neighborhood after we had bought it because it was in such bad shape. She ended up buying the home when we were done. If you need help in visualizing what can be done with a problem home, call me or e-mail me. Maybe I can help. I'd like to try.
