I was born in southern California, and my family moved to Utah when I was about ten years old. I remember when I was about sixteen, my dad told me I should be a real estate salesman. He said I understood people, got along with them, and that I should develop that gift. I didn't know what he meant then and, unfortunately for me, I didn't listen to him untill much, much later.
I graduated high school in 1981, and went on an LDS mission to Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1982-83. Upon returning, I attended college at the University of Utah, and later graduated from BYU.
I have always enjoyed working with people, discovering what their needs are, helping them figure out the best way to take care of them. It can be very challenging, and extemely rewarding to take someone's prized possession, their home or their business, and help them to sell it for top dollar. And I love to see a person's face light up when they walk into the home of their dreams, and decided to make it their own. I do enjoy being a part of that.
On a personal note, I am married to my beautiful wife, Kara, and we have a combined family of six children, five boys and a girl. I love to sing and play guitar. Kara and I enjoy horseback riding, getting together with family and friends, and just laughing and having fun.
