I have live in Edenvale with my three daughter who are 24 and 20(twins). I have lived here most of my life and have an extensive database of friends collegues, clients and a referral network.

My Property business is my life. I love the business and do not see it as a job but a labour of love. Solving peoples property problems is what I do. So often the solutions sorts other issues out too. The bonus for me besides being paid for what I do is that I develop wonderful enduring relationships with my clients that always become treasured friends.

I live a full and fulfilled life, although sadly I am divorced, but that experience has also proved valuable to my personal growth. As a hobby I take music lessons which I find extremely fulfilling. I am an avid reader. I workout in the gym 6 days a week and take my health seriously.

I have been selling property since 1989.
I matriculated in 1975 and worked in corporate in the Financial sector.

In 1989 soon after giving birth to my twin daughters I started looking for a career that would allow me flexibility and time with my three daughters the older one was 4 at the time. Property had alway interested me and I began working for a local real estate agency. In 1992 I completed my Bachelor of Commerce degree and continued with Honours in Real Estate. One of the assignments in the Sales and Marketing Subject asked for a detailed essay on "Starting your Own Real Estate Company" After receiving 100% for the assignment I decided that I could - go it alone and started Helen Michie Properties.

I keep up to date through various real estate training that I have access to and attend a course of Personal Development every year. I have certificates on Letting, Fractional Ownership, Sales and Marketing, Time Management and CRS. I read extensively and absolutely love what I do!
