Hi, thank you for visiting my website and for reading my autobiography.
I immigrated to Canada in '99 from England with my Daughter Lindsey and after a short time in Bancroft ON (great little town) we moved to the beautiful Town of Barrie. I worked for a real estate company for a while but soon moved on to open Legacy GMAC Real Estate. GMAC Real Estate comes from an automotive background with General Motors as the GMAC implies. Anyway this is supposed to be a bio about me, so moving on..... The hardest thing you can be asked to do is talk about yourself, especially when your life revolves around taking care of other people. I guess I've always been into caring for people in one way or another. Back in England I owned and ran a 40 bed residential home for seniors for twenty years and to this day I still have a lot of time for older people. They may be infirm in some way, but they still have so much to teach and so much to give. Often, all they ask in return is for a little time to talk. My work in England taught me patience and tolerance.
Some of the things I enjoy are my Children and grand children, photography, science, T.V., business, a good movie, real estate of course, flying, meeting people and a good debate.
I owe a great deal to my life partner Lori. Without her support I wouldn't have gone this far. I believe a great deal in "what goes around, comes around" and I apply this belief in every day life. So it is my hope that one day I will be able to give back to Lori.
As a Canadian from England I am proud to bring to Canada some of my English influence. I believe in Trust. It's not just a five letter word people use when they feel they have to, it's a way of life. It's something that you have to give before you can expect it back and it's something that you have to continue to give even when someone lets you down. My word means everything to me, my word is truly my bond.
