I have lived in Aurora for close to 30 years, with my Husband Jim of many years, and been in real estate since 1993. I love to help find the right home and sell existing home, to enable families to move on to the next chapter in their life. I have met and accumulated a large number of clients in the business of buying and selling, of which most have become my friends, and in turn create referral business for me. I like to be know as their Professional Real Estate agent, right up there with their Dr., Lawyer and Dentist, not to forget Accountant.
We have two children Michael and Angela, and four grandchildren. My daughter-in-law Cheryl, is also a real estate agent in the Barrie area, so we have a large part of Ontario covered between the two of us.
This is my second term as a volunteer parade committee member for the revival of the Aurora Canada Day Parade, which I might add was a huge success in 2008 and expected to be bigger and better in 2009. It is great fun, hard work, and I met a number of great people. I have been a memeber of the Aurora Leisure Complex, and Aurora Chamber of Commerce for over 15 years as well.
I currently write a column in the Aurora Snap paper, which I am enjoying, until it is deadline time. The colume is 'Merilyn's News and Views", you can check out parts of it on my Blog.
