Selene, a native of Mazatlan exemplifies the beauty, grace and intelligence of her fellow Mazatlecos. Her family was among the first to discover Mazatlan and it's charm over 6 generations ago. Growing up was a delightful mix of formal education, strong values, ethics and family pride.

Today Selene is proud of her past, enjoys her present and eagerly looks forward to the future.

In addition to Spanish, Selene's many talents include fluency in English, which she learned while living in San Diego, Ca for ten years.

These skills combined with her love and knowledge of Mexico and it's people, make her uniquely qualified to guide you through the exciting, yet sometimes confusing process of buying and enjoying your dream home in Mazatlan.

Selene’s favorite pastime is watching her four year old son, Emiliano play baseball. She sees herself as a strong role model for her son and says he is her treasure and strength. In addition to teaching him English Selene loves showing Emiliano that with hard work and dedication everything is possible.

Her partner Gary McQuin moved to Mazatlan three years ago. Drawn by its climate, cultural activities and the warmth of the people Gary jumped at the opportunity to live here year round.

Gary has first hand experience buying and selling his personal homes here is Mazatlan. These experiences have shown Gary exactly what it feels like to be on the other side of the fence, when it comes to Real Estate.

One of the many things that drew Gary to Mazatlan was the chance for community service. He is involved on a weekly basis in feeding local children who live in poverty. In addition, summers find Gary welcoming more than 500 teens and young adults to this fair city where they have the chance to work with Vineyard Ministries building homes, feeding the poor and experiencing the Mexican culture.

While Selene and Gary have different backgrounds they agree on their purpose here in Mazatlan: To be . . . Extraordinary Realtors for Extraordinary Clients.

Selene Cisneros: After completing High School in Mazatlan, Selene completed her formal education at Collego Universitad de Occidente. In California Selene worked for Geico Auto Insurance where she learned and mastered the work ethics, expectations and mindset of Americans and Canadians. After returning “home” to Mazatlan, Selene became one of the first Real Estate Professionals to join the ReMax Sunset Eagle team.

Gary McQuin: While he is not yet fluent in Spanish, Gary's second language is "Finance and Investments". He first discovered this language at the University of Oregon where he earned a BA in Business and Political Science.Gary's experiences running small businesses, working for Job Corps in the US and extensive involvement in Real Estate give him an appreciation of how hard you have worked for your money and how important it is to feel safe and secure with your investment.

“You don’t speak Spanish and you live in Mazatlan? Man has my respect for you gone down!”

This is an actual comment, directed to me, from an English speaking client last year. And, NO, he did not speak Spanish either. I am pretty good at responding to people, being speechless is not a weakness of mine. In fact, Selene many times has said, “Gary, ...
