Scottsdale, AZ
United States

Cell: 480-298-3635

Background:

I am originally from the Midwest, growing up in a town of about 4,000 in Northeast Kansas. After my second year of college, I moved to Kansas City, Missouri. I lived in Kansas City for 17 years and then relocated to the beautiful state of Arizona (with my new husband!!!!)

Career:

I am a full-time, licensed REALTOR®. My goal is to ignite the same passion I have for this industry into the buyers and sellers that I serve. I choose to think of myself as a “consultant” and not just an agent. What’s the difference? Many agents just do enough to get the job done, but a consultant is with you every step of the way to advise, counsel, mentor, and guide, as there are a myriad of decisions in the buying and selling of a home.

Additionally, I have a strong desire for knowledge and market data, coupled with fervent negotiation skills and keen attention to detail. I make every effort to be a resourceful professional to my clients, while navigating them through the home buying/selling process.

Furthermore, my hope is to be both accessible and adaptable, while presenting all options and simplifying the transaction as much as possible. We all know that complications can and do arise, so every attempt is made to steer my clients through to a successful closing.

But even in our high tech age, real estate is still about relationships, and it is imperative for all those involved to have a sense of trust and respect throughout the transaction. I truly enjoy meeting new people and do all that I can to make them feel comfortable from the very start.

I am also a firm believer that “laughter is good medicine for the soul,” so I keep a sense of humor to “de-stress” those highly emotional moments throughout the process.

Experience:

Prior to becoming a Realtor®, I was in the corporate world for 22 years working with top Executives in several industries, which included healthcare, telecommunications, real estate, mortgage banking, restaurant/hospitality, and insurance.

Personal References:

It’s always easier to let other people do the talking for you, so here are just some comments from others who have partnered with me in the past:

 “I truly feel that she is an outstanding individual – one works with only once in a lifetime.”
 “Extremely motivated, organized, and a unique ability to prioritize.”
 “Extraordinary at multi-tasking, remains calm and focused in high stress situations.”
 “Consistent, pleasant personality and promptness in response.”
 “Does not procrastinate and enthusiastically meets challenges.”
 “Very proactive in anticipating problems and solving them before they occur.”
 “Connie is a delightful person to interact with. She is always professional, punctual, hard working and conscientious. She has very high ethical standards and expects them of the people she interacts with.”
 “She is a moral, upright, honest, capable young lady.”
 “Connie takes on challenges well, asks questions to clarify, works to save time and money, and goes above and beyond to complete the task effectively. She also treats people kindly and is fair.”
 “…not only the hardest working, but also highly competent with excellent customer service. I know things will get done right when working with Connie.”

Special Interests:

Obviously, one special interest is in real estate. I find the business to be challenging, stimulating, very rewarding, and downright fun!!! I first caught the real estate “bug” when I bought a “fixer upper” home and learned all about the world of remodeling – the good, the bad, and the ugly. But after it was all said and done, I also learned that I had some gifts I never realized and discovered a passion for interior design and gardening!

A second special interest is in pets…both dogs and cats…although we are now down to just one cat. But I have always owned pets all of my life and have enjoyed their wonderful company.

And last, but definitely not least, is my greatest delight of all…which brings me to the entire reason why I am in real estate. My husband and I do short-term missions to India and absolutely love working with the orphans and street children. It is our desire to get to a place where we are debt free so that we can go over to serve for longer periods of time (though that is still several years away).

So if you are concerned about where all those commission dollars are going, just know that they are being used for a higher purpose to fulfill a greater calling!!!!

It is my sincerest hope to build relationships that are not for a day, a week, or even a year…but for a lifetime!

Thanks for taking the time to learn a little more about me and I hope you will join me regularly on the “HouseHangout.com” blog.
