The Fabulous South Bay Team of Lauren Perreault and Danielle Newson is here to help you -- with two professional agents instead of one, there is always someone who is available to get you the answers you want quickly. We work for one of the premiere Real Estate Brokerages in the South Bay, South Bay Brokers, Inc., and enjoy working with a top notch group of colleagues.

Lauren has been personally involved in real estate investing and construction for almost 30 years. After many years spent in executive management positions for local corporations where she specialized in rescuing troubled departments and projects, she decided to make real estate her sole focus in 2003.

Danielle shares a similar background, also having project management experience and beginning her Real Estate career around the same time as Lauren.

Our past experience translates directly into improved service for her clients. After all, if you can negotiate multi-Billion dollar contracts with the United States Government, you can negotiate successfully with anyone! Their experience allows us to help clients analyze issues and data. Our job is to make the complicated uncomplicated so YOU are empowered.

Lauren attended Michigan State University & earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She also has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Southern California (Fight On, Trojans!!) She is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and holds GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute, an intensive series of advanced coursework), e-PRO (a designation certifying knowledge of internet marketing for Real Estate), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Quality Manager designations. She is currently working to obtain the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) credential, the "PhD of Real Estate" which is held by only 4 percent of Realtors nationwide. She is thrilled to have only one more class to go!
In addition to her activities as a Realtor, she is also the President of a California Corporation, Equus Premiere Properties, Inc. which was formed to "flip" fixer properties when she comes across properties that seem like good investments. To date, she has managed 5 major remodels with total budgets of approximately $850,000. Lauren has been a guest lecturer on Real Estate for the Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management to their MBA students.

Lauren has lived in this area for over 30 years. She is raising two beautiful teen-age (yikes!) daughters with her terrific husband, award winning architect Garth Sheriff, AIA, NCARB. In addition to work and family, she is a volunteer with Las Amigas De Las Lomas, a charitable organization that supports the Children's Orthopedic Hospital and is also active in politics.

Danielle attended University of Washington where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Ceramic Engineering. She worked for many years at Allied Signal Aerospace. Working on advanced technology applications for aircraft engines and managing multi-million dollar contracts was very exciting and rewarding, but she always yearned to own her own business. Having been raised in an entrepreneurial family, Danielle has always sought after free enterprise opportunities and has successfully started and run 2 small companies.

Four years ago she branched out of her real estate investments business to become a REALTORĀ® and represent the interests of buyers and sellers in their real estate transactions. Danielle has found that helping others is very satisfying, whether it's helping a buyer find their perfect home, make a good investment and manage the transaction or helping a seller get top dollar for their property, negotiating the deal and closing the escrow.

Danielle has two children, a son who is 15 and a daughter aged 12, and enjoys spending quality time with them and her family in Malibu. She is on the board of directors for one of her investment properties and has taken the lead in a new exterior refurbishment project for the entire 43 unit complex, which is quite rewarding.

Like Lauren, Danielle believes that the more you learn, the more you have to offer society, therefore she is consistently pursuing new learning opportunities that will advance her knowledge and further her expertise in her field. Through her advanced knowledge, she provides an edge for her clients that allows them to compete on a higher level and achieve a greater degree of success in their transaction.
