After I completed my post graduate work at USC; (and several years of teaching mathematics) I joined IBM where I held varioius management positions in systems and marketing. After more than 10 years with IBM (where I learned the power of technology and value of "customer service"), I joined Coopers & Lyibrand, a big 8 CPA firm, as an MIS consultant. After completing an extensive assignment with the National Association of Realtors in Chicago, I joined NAR as a Senior Vice President. It was here that I became caught in the excitement and sense of satisfaction of helping families to buy and sell homes.The reward went well beyond any compensation...
After several years of retirement in Olympia, Washington, my wife and I decided to move to the Coachella Valley (Indio, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, Rancho Mirage and La Quinta) where we live today. My wife and I noted that the real estate practice had changed significantly over the past 10 years with the advent of the the interenet and computerization.We also felt that the majority of the real estate companies were not taking full advantage of the newer technologies for the home buyer/seller. We believe that the profession has changed to the point where the client can realze significant savings in both money and effectiveness. Hence we created Dolan Properties, Inc. a full brokerage real estate company where we use the internet and other new technologies to the fullest to assist our clients achieve their real estate goals, as wel as to save them thousands of dollars (we list at 2 % and if we're buying agent we will pay your non recurring closing costs... assuming that we get at least 2 1/2 $ selling commission). This means that the home buyer can save more than $3500 on the purchase of a $500,000 home. Yet, we extend the full range of services to every home buyer and seller that we serve. Each of our listings are advertised on more thatn 30 real estate web sites (e.g. MSN.com, Yahoo.com, Realtor.org, Google.com, etc.).
We find that we are not "just a real estate company", but each client becomes part of the extended "Dolan Family". As one client said,"...you are the first real estate agent I have worked with in my life that I feel truely works for me..." Our goals is the have all of our clients feel the same...
