Ron Phillips

I was born and raised in Chicago moved to Denver and I have lived here for 35 years. I have done many things in my life such as Ambulance Driver, Musician, and Artist, Pastored a Church for 10 years, owned some businesses and many other types of jobs. I graduated high school in Chicago. Being a normal teenager I knew everything about life and decided to become rich and famous as a musician. That was harder then I thought. I love oil painting. Have you heard of the starving artist sales? I was already starving and since I found out most of the successful artists are dead, I suddenly lost my desire to paint as a profession and decided to keep it a hobby. My wife really helped me in my decision making process. It is time for you to say "I'll bet she did!" Pastoring a church for 10 years was probably the most rewarding and difficult challenge I ever experienced. I learned about people and how to communicate with them, among many other things. It was a tremendous growing time in my life and in many areas of my life. I developed a code or principles that a person must have to be trusted and successful.

To make a long story short, everything I enjoyed I could not make enough money at. My brother-in-law tried to get me into sales. I hate sales! I hate to be pushed and manipulated by some idiot trying to sell me something. Because that was my concept of sales I stayed away from it for some time.

My wife and I finally hit rock bottom. I could not support my wife and daughter. My wife lost her job and I did not have one. We were on food stamps. The IRS put us in inactive status. That’s pretty bad when the government gives up on you.

I was ready to try anything. I did not have to attend any motivational meetings. I was strongly motivated by starving.

My brother-in-law helped me get into real estate. I don't care who you are, at some point in your life you will need someone to help you. I was just lucky that someone was there for us.

I have been in Real Estate for 14 years now and I love it. I have become very successful in real estate. I have received many awards and achievements that are too numerous to mention. I love Real Estate. Not just because I make good money, but because it is very fulfilling to be a part of helping others succeed and realize their dreams and desires. I am good at what I do and I am proud of it!
