I have lived around the world but settled on New England as the place to raise my family and enjoy life. I was born in San Diego, California, and lived in several states including: Michigan, Illinois, Arkansas, Nebraska, Louisiana and Arizona. Why so many places? My father was a successful Jockey and rode racehorses throughout the country. We finally settled in Phoenix, Arizona, where I call my childhood home. As a child, I gained so many different experiences and have lived in some very fascinating places which have helped me become a successful REALTORĀ® today.
I moved to Connecticut in 1995 where I met REALTORĀ®, Ed Peterson, and became his virtual assistant in real estate. With my background in marketing, sales and public relations, I helped him market and promote his real estate business which grew substantially during this time. In 1999, I left as his assistant and became his wife.
In 2004, my days of "Corporate America" came to an end and I found being a full-time real estate partner with my husband Ed was my calling. As a result, we created our own company, eDrake Real Estate. But, I didn't forget my Arizona past; in 2006, I earned my Arizona Real Estate license and created a division of eDrake that assists buyers of luxury homes in Scottsdale, Az.
One of the most exciting opportunities I have had with real estate is filming an episode of the hit reality show, House Hunters. It has appeared on HGTV throughout 2007 and 2008.
