Bob Lapietro

Bob grew up in Watertown, Massachusetts. Graduated from Bentley College in accounting. Worked in sales in air-conditioning and plumbing, then became a Realtor and worked in Massachusetts. Also holds a Broker's license in NH. Bob looked around Florida and decided to buy a house in Port Charlotte in 1985. After the Blizzard of '78, Bob was motivated to move down to Florida!

Bob's years in Florida real estate span 1985 - now (23 years). He's very active with the Board of Realtors and WCR. Bob was president of the local WCR chapter in 1987, and currently co-chairs the International Committee and sits on the Professional Development Committee for over 15 years. Whenever there is a cookout, Bob is cooking at the grill with his Disney - Mickey Mouse hat. He wore out his Goofy Chef's Hat from so much use - It was a chef's hat with Goofy ears. He has also played Santa many years. Now that he's lost 76 pounds, Bob may need to add a pillow or two to look like Jolly Old St. Nick. At home, Bob cooks the holiday meals - and loves cooking all three meals daily. Bob loves food!

In 2005, Bob & Jen Lapietro won the Century 21 Double Centurian award. They closed over 176 transactions that year. Bob & Jen work well as a team. Jen handles technical support and marketing. Bob is the salesperson. They enjoy going to conventions. They attended the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Convention in Orlando (2008) and took many of the classes offered. Bob is involved with the Florida Association of Realtors; he is one of several people who audition potential instructors for Realtor classes.

Bob's dream is to go to Italy and hear Andrea Bucelli - the opera singer, and visit distant relatives in the mountains of Montaguto, Italy. There are only 700 inhabitants in the town. Bob saw photos of Montaguto on www.maps.Google.com.
