I graduated highschool in 1986 in California while my dad was still in the AirForce stationed at Vandenberg AFB. My father got stationed here at Patrick AFB at the beginning of my senior year in high school. I followed shortly that next summer and met my husband at the Radisson Hotel on the beach while I was working as a Reservations Manager. He asked me if I would like to see the monster size turtles lay their eggs on the beach with him. Well being from California, I naturally had never heard of this and so was just disgusted by his suggestion! Much to my embarrassment, I was the moron, and we got married a year later and started our family right away. We have 2 teenage boys, who are my life. I do what I do for them, because of them. But...also needed something more for me. I tried to finish college over the years, but due to family constraints and issues that we all have, was more inclined to help bring home the bacon more than to broaden my mind. However, this just wasn't enough for me. I have worked for attorneys for approximately the past 13 years as a legal assistant, and just needed more. So... I went into the real estate business. I love it, but it is one of the most challenging things I have ever had to do. I am part introvert and part extrovert. I have no problem speaking in public, but am very shy when it comes to talking one on one. I like to work for the working person. I thought I was driven by money, now I think I am driven by a passion to help the people that are being left behind. Those of us who can't afford to live in Brevard County! I don't want to see the people that keep this community going, police officers, military, firefighters, nurses, teachers take jobs in other Counties or States because they can't afford to live here. This is why I remain even though I am one of the little fish in this enormous ocean of Realtors.

I have been in the real estate business for just about 2 years now. I work under a team in order to gain knowledge of a field that changes every day. I work under a Broker Associate by the name of Nancy Romaine who has been in real estate for over 15 years. In my first year of real estate I closed over 2 million in sales! For most seasoned agents this is nothing....but for me THAT WAS HUGE!!!! I am taking courses constantly to learn as much as I can about this market, the community, finances, and especially in the area of First Time Home Buyers, buyers with credit issues, and ways that the working class lower starting income community can afford to live in a nice neighborhood without starving or ruining their credit further. I may not be seasoned in the area of years under my belt, but I have lived in this community a long time and realize what we had to offer, what we now have to offer new comers and want to keep the "residents" right here! In what we call a small piece of Paradise in Florida.
