Areas of Specialization:

I specialize in Intown Atlanta properties from lofts and condos to traditional homes. I also have a broad knowledge base of the North Atlanta Suburbs and literally dozens of associates we can put you in touch with outside of those areas. Another focus is on helping small business owners who have outgrown their home office and feel it is time to have a dedicated space for their office. We also have specific expertise in assisting empty-nesters move on to the next phase of their lives as they look for a home that is less about maintenance and space and more about ease of life and taking full advantage of some of the events, lifestyles and opportunities the Metro Atlanta area can offer.

Special Interests/Hobbies:

Marc’s hobbies include hiking , biking, water skiing, renovating (which normally means destroying) his house, and going to Braves and Falcons games as often as possible. Community work such as volunteering for the Porch Press newspaper and Decatur Arts Alliance events also come into the picture. Ohio State Football consumes his late summer through bowl season but that's less a hobby and more of a religion.

My commitment to community and neighborhood initiatives is unparalleled. I donate a portion of my commissions every sale to Paws Atlanta, a no kill animal shelter, purchased and distributed some 500 trees to plant Intown for Arbor Day, participates in Habitat for Humanity builds, act as current president of the East Atlanta Business Association, Editor and Board Member of the Porch Press and support numerous community festivals and charity events via sponsorships or volunteer hours. If you want someone that knows the Intown Atlanta neighborhoods and communities intimately I just might be the Realtor for you.

Why Use A REALTOR®

When you're looking for help buying or selling property, it's important to remember that the term"real estate agent"and the word"REALTOR"are not synonymous. REALTORS can provide an extra level of service, and to be a REALTOR you must be a member of the National Association of REALTORS. The NAR is a non-profit trade organization that promotes high professional standards in real estate information, education and professional standards.

The National Association of REALTORS also has earned a strong reputation for actively championing private property rights and working to make home ownership affordable and accessible.

Code of Ethics

NAR and CREA members adhere to a strict code of ethics founded on the principle of providing fair and honest service to all consumers. REALTOR business practices are monitored at local board levels. Arbitration and disciplinary systems are in place to address complaints from the public or board members. This local oversight keeps REALTORS directly accountable to the individual consumers they serve. Real estate licensees who are not REALTORS, work solely under state/provincial licensing regulations. Definitions

A REALTOR® is a licensed real estate agent who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) a membership organization of some 720,000 real estate agents in the United States. In Canada, the corresponding professional organization is the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA). A licensed real estate agent does not have to be a member of NAR or CREA to practice real estate.

In real estate, a broker has earned a broker's license. Many brokers own their own real estate office and are"brokers of record,"with other real estate agents"hanging their license"under the broker of record.
