Carole Fisher

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I moved to the Big Island in 1986. After working in the tourism trade for a few years I moved to Honolulu with my job and there I had met my bartending husband Jay. After 5 years in the "big city", we decided to move back to Kona, get married and start a family. We have a son James who is 10 years old and is currently in the 4th grade. He's our pride and joy and am happy to say that he loves math!

I graduated from George M. Schurr High school with honors, was the USB Historian, on the speach team, on all the "dance" committees and was voted by the teaching staff for the Who's Who of American Highschool students. I was also honored with the invitation to be a Los Rosas Debutant in which I had acepted. After highschool I was asked to represent them in the Miss Montebello Pagent where I won the dance trophey. I later entered the Jr. Miss Pagent which was a great experience. I had attended Pepperdine University and UCLA for a few seasons.

My life has been full of wonderful experiences on and off the job site. On the job site I have worked from a County employee iin the Roads Division, to working in a department store, to a bouncer at a rock'n roll nightclub to an executive secretary at a prestigious Insurance company in Los Angeles. While living in Kona, I have always worked in tourism and customer service and have gained deep respect for our island visitors and local residence alike. For a season I worked for a Christian church in Honolulu in the Bible Institute department and have assisted in several outreaches in Oahu.

Through my years I have learned that people our my passion and service is key to developing a trusting relationship.
